DESCRIPTION:\nLife insurance continues to be a topic of interest, largely due to its liquidity profile and tax-preferential treatment.  However, it has been said that insurance is sold, not bought.  In this program, Russell DeLibero, PhD, CFP®, CHFC®, CLU® will review the life insurance landscape, including traditional and non-traditional strategies and the roles that these strategies can play in thoughtful planning.  Topics to be covered include:\n Life insurance taxation Guaranteed and non-guaranteed policy types Traditional vs PPLI policies Policy and ownership structure Investment allocation options Funding considerations Integration within the overall T&E plan Marketplace concerns \nRussell De Libero\n \nRussell DeLibero, PhD, CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, is an adjunct professor in the Master of Science in Financial Planning (MSFP) Program at The American College of Financial Services.\n \nIn addition to teaching, Dr. DeLibero is a wealth strategist at Goldman Sachs. He advises ultra-high net worth clients and private wealth advisors across the country in private wealth management, executive financial management, and personal financial management. His conversations focus on insurance, estate, and tax planning.\n \nKnown for his expertise in financial planning, wealth transfer, trust & estate planning, and retirement planning, Dr. DeLibero focuses on financial and retirement planning at The College.\n \nDr. DeLibero earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Rutgers University, his Master of Science degree in Financial Services and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Financial and Retirement Planning from The American College.  He holds Series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 65 securities licenses in addition to insurance licenses.  Dr. DeLibero also holds the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) professional designations.\n \nEvent Moderator: Christine Czapek, Esq.\n \nEPCNNJ GIVES BACK!  - The EPCNNJ has joined forces with the Interfaith Food Pantry Network (IFPN) to fight food insecurity and provide thousands of low-income families and seniors the nutrition they need to stay healthy.  With the price of food skyrocketing, the numbers of those in need throughout Morris County is increasing each day.  To help, we ask that you consider either or both of the following:\n Please bring non-perishable items to our November 20, 2024 meeting for donation to the IFPN.  A list of current food needs can be found here:  https://www.mcifp.org/donate/donate-food/ To complement our November Meeting Food Drive, we are asking for monetary donations to support this critical community resource.
