DESCRIPTION:\n \n \nOn March 9th, the Estate Planning Council of Northern New Jersey will be holding a panel discussion on planning for adult special needs children with a focus on advance planning by parents to identify and address financial issues (supplemental and special needs trusts), substituted decision making, care management, residential and vocational issues.  There is a distinct gap in services for special needs children ages 21 to 65.  A failure of parents to plan for the care for these children upon their own demise can lead to unnecessary institutionalization and an inability for their child to be as independent as  possible.  The session will run from 7:15-8:30pm.   \n \n \n \nThis program had been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 1.5 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 0 qualify as hours of credit for ethics/professionalism, and 0 qualify as hours of credit toward certification in civil trial law, criminal trial law, workers compensation law, municipal court law, and/or matrimonial law.\n \n \n \nCFP and CPA continuing education credit will be offered for this presentation\n \n \n \n \n \n6:00 PM Cocktails, Hors D'Oeuvres & Networking            Place:  The Madison Hotel , One Convent Rd.
